A different take on Reenactment
It all started with a group of friends who developed a common passion and subsequently got together to create the College of Chivalry. Our reenactment society is a devoted community made up of enthusiastic individuals who enjoy sword fighting, archery and living history. We train regularly to ensure that we are skilled and safe to perform at events all over the country. Our passion is providing family friendly medieval Reenactment shows and living history demonstrations. Battle For Black Cat is back for 2024!

Come and enjoy a great day out for all the family. THere is so much so see and do. Why not have a go and see if you have what it takes to be a knight of old.
Test your skills on the archery range.
Take a walk through around our market, grab a bite to eat, try some games or sample a glass of mead or an Ice-Cream.
Then take a trip back in time. Step into the living history camps and see how people lived in the days of old as they prepared for battle.
Watch as knights and Archers compete to see who is the most skilled.
And the whole day is finished off with a battle. Watch as the Lord of Black Cat and his army face off against the Peasants Rebellion. Who will be victorious?
